Sam Chalk

Sam originally planned a career in engineering because of his interest and participation in off-road motorcycling. Shortly after graduating from NC State University, he veered into business by purchasing a Yamaha dealership, then a Honda dealership and combining them in a new facility in North Carolina. Ten years of running these successful operations led to the next step in his career. He then started a 17-year tenure with KTM North America as a Regional Sales Manager, excelling on the OEM side of the industry. Before joining the V20 team, Sam enjoyed two years as BMW Motorrad Aftersales Business Manager, Coach, and Consultant implementing best practices with BMW dealerships on the east coast. Sam specializes in recruiting for Powersports dealership positions, from Technicians to General Management. A student of the business, pioneering in 20-group participation, with OEM experience, he has extensive knowledge of the staffing needs of current dealerships. His searches are guided by the question, “who would I want in that position in MY dealership?” As a former racing competitor, Sam still pursues his lifelong passion for off-road riding in his spare time.
