The Opportunity:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing operations and lead the production team
- Drive continuous improvement programs for product quality, cost, processes, and designs
- Establish operational goals and metrics in coordination with company directives
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing early in the design stage
- Set operational performance standards and align the organization to achieve them
- Implement Lean and other methods of continual improvement
- Work closely with Human Resources to ensure personnel actions follow company rules
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or related fields
- Minimum four years of management experience
- Experience in the marine manufacturing industry is a plus
- Proven track record of leading teams and meeting production goals
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques, Six Sigma, RCCA, conflict resolution
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and OSHA 14001 requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office products
