Marine Dealership Controller

Our client:
A very large, progressive and well known Marine dealer on the east coast that has been in business for over 35 years.

The Opportunity:
Looking for an experienced controller. Marine/RV/Powersports or Automotive dealership accounting operations experience is a big plus. Reports directly to the owner. This is a people first organization. This is a great opportunity to join a well established dealer and make a difference! Growth opportunities exist as this business will need to create a CFO position on the management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations
• Participate in strategic financial decisions
• Ability to streamline and improve dealer operations
• Create and interpret management reports
• Prepare monthly 20 Group Composite material
• Liaison with Finance companies and Banks
• Audit and track accounting processes: A/P, A/R, PO, bank reconciliation & more
• Collaborate with CPA for tax reporting

• 3+ year's experience in a retail dealership environment.
• Marine/RV/Powersports dealership experience preferred.
• 3+ year's experience in managing daily accounting operations.
• 3+ year's experience with P&L management reporting.
• Familiarity with Lightspeed dealer management systems is a plus.
• Must have organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Self-suffiiciency is a must.
