My client, a rapidly growing leader in off-grid power solutions, provides innovative energy products, including solar panels, lithium batteries, power inverters, and complete off-grid kits for the RV and Marine industries. With strong leadership, high-quality resources, and plans to expand into the Powersports and Golf Cart/LSV markets, they offer an exciting opportunity to join their team at an early stage of growth. They’re seeking a self-driven B2B business development and sales professional with deep product knowledge, particularly in battery applications across RV, Marine, and related sectors, to help them expand their footprint. This person should also ideally have experience in high volume battery sales. In this near full-autonomous role, you’ll travel extensively to build relationships, develop leads, close deals, and attend trade shows, contributing to a growing market presence while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.

Our client provides off-grid power solutions for the RV & Marine industries, crafting solar panels, kits for off-grid energy systems, lithium batteries, power inverters, charge controllers, and more. They have established a foothold in these industries, and are seeking to expand and break into the Powersports and Golf Cart industries, in addition to integrating their products within other industries where applicable. They are rapidly growing, have excellent tools and resources at their disposal, and very strong leadership. The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a B2B business development and sales professional with a solid understanding for the products they manufacture and distribute, and where and how they can be integrated within the RV, Marine, & Powersports industries primarily. The primary area where a high degree of product knowledge is required is batteries, and their applications to the vehicles in these industries. They are seeking a hungry and capable hunter that not only understands the application of their offerings as it relates to these industries, but can also generate solid leads to build upon and expand their footprint in these markets. This person will be able to reside anywhere in the country, and must willingly accept the fact that they will need to be on the road at least 50% of the time, building relationships, developing and tracking leads, and attending trade shows. If you are self motivated and have knowledge of these product lines in any of these industries, this position will allow you to earn substantially, achieve success, and grow professionally in a rapidly growing organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively seek new B2B business opportunities in the RV, Marine, & Powersports markets primarily
  • Contact prospective clients through cold calls and emails
  • Attend and represent the company at tradeshows and other events throughout the year as needed
  • Research and qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring that the lead corresponds to our target markets, and analyzing potential business opportunities
  • Present our company and product offerings to potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and ongoing support; answering potential client questions and follow up call questions, responding to client requests for proposals (RFP) in a timely manner
  • Create informative presentations, presenting and delivering information to clients at client meetings, industry exhibits/tradeshows, and conferences
  • Build a book of business, fostering relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short and long term business development plans
  • Position will be subject to a 90-day, 6 month, and annual review

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B Sales & Business Development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant product segments: solar kits, panels, charge controllers, inverters, batteries, etc.
  • Experience in a Sales or Business Development role within RV, Marine, or Powersports industries
  • Must be hungry and self-driven, and display professionalism in your written and verbal communications
  • Must be willing and able to call, connect, and interact with potential customers from all over the country
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the application of these products to the Marine, RV, & Powersports industries
  • Must be a team player with a high level of dedication
  • Must be able to deliver engaging presentations, clearly demonstrating the value of their products and their applications
  • Must be capable of understanding and adhering to sales performance metrics
  • Must possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office, specifically Excel is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
