A well-known outdoor adventure events company is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Account Executive to contribute to its growing business within the Motorsports & Outdoor events portfolio. The company's event portfolio encompasses the motorsports, marine, and outdoor industries, hosting premier events with strong vendor and consumer attendance.
The Opportunity:
This role involves developing and selling creative event sponsorships to both endemic and non-endemic brands, along with booth space sales to exhibitors across diverse businesses. You will support world-class events in the powersports & motorsports industries. This remote position offers flexible work arrangements and reports directly to the Vice President of Motorsports and Outdoor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client lists for the Motorsports event portfolio; obtain orders and establish new accounts by attending trade events, client meetings, owned events, competitor events, cold calling, and utilizing existing contacts
- Adjust sales presentations to align with client interests and needs
- Collaborate with event marketing teams to offer creative solutions
- Submit orders and event contracts
- Provide activity and results reports to management, and attend weekly sales meetings to track progress towards goals
- Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, and new market trends
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints to maintain satisfaction
- Work closely with the sales fulfillment and operations team to ensure client expectations are met
- Demonstrate teamwork by promoting the client’s other properties to interested clients
- Assist in fulfilling sales obligations, including on-site management, client interactions regarding planned activities, and event travel for customer support
Qualifications:
- Motivated and driven self-starter with strong prospecting and lead-generation skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience in consultative selling to meet established sales goals and quotas
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of the Powersports & Motorsports events industries
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with other sales and marketing team members
