Location: South East, USA (not a remote opportunity, relocation is available)

Position Summary:
The Finance Director will oversee the financial management of the company, implementing systems and controls to support sustainable growth. This role involves leading finance operations, including cash flow management, reporting, and regulatory compliance, as well as playing a strategic role in developing long-term financial objectives. The Finance Director will work closely with the GM and management team to drive operational efficiency and ensure the company’s financial health and growth in the recreational marine industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a newly implemented ERP system
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations: cash flow, banking, A/R, A/P, and payroll
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Manage annual financial reviews, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and custom project accounting
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and taxes
- Manage employee benefits, insurance, and subcontractor financial matters
- Identify and oversee city, county, and state grant and incentive programs

- Collaborate with the management team to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
- Drive accountability across the company, fostering a culture of productivity and performance
- Develop financial controls, material systems, labor tracking, and best practices for cost and resource management
- Communicate regularly with the management team and ownership on business development and financial performance
- Provide focused leadership, committing fully to the role with no external distractions
- Be flexible in handling the fluctuating demands of the marine industry, which may include long hours and multi-tasking during lean periods
