Our client, a high-volume, multi-rooftop Powersports dealer, seeks a motivated, analytical, and results-oriented General Manager to lead their dealership team. This is a high-performing organization focused on customer satisfaction and offering a full line of the industry’s top motorcycles, SXS, ATV, PWC, and snowmobile brands. The organization has many long-term employees and prioritizes work-life balance for their team.

The Opportunity:
The General Manager will run a 1500-unit dealership with responsibility for all facets of the operation, including profit and loss. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Powersports industry and a track record of building successful, high-performing teams. They will be accountable for achieving dealership goals and cultivating an environment that promotes customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership across sales, parts, and service departments
  • Mentor, coach, and develop department managers and team members to enhance productivity, professionalism, and customer service
  • Establish and maintain a positive, customer-focused culture that aligns with the company’s core values and vision
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue, customer acquisition, and market share
  • Monitor and adjust pricing, promotions, and inventory to optimize sales volume and profitability
  • Analyze sales and market trends to identify growth opportunities and maximize performance
  • Oversee daily operations for sales, parts, and service departments to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory levels, order parts, and maintain stock to meet customer demand while controlling costs
  • Set and monitor department budgets and financial goals, including revenue targets, cost control, and profitability benchmarks
  • Track financial performance, analyze P&L statements, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance
  • Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent service, product knowledge, and post-sale support

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in Powersports industry
  • Proven track record of achieving high-volume sales and operational goals
  • Strong Powersports product knowledge
  • Deep understanding of dealership operations (sales, parts, and service)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 20 Group experience preferred
  • Advanced leadership and communication skills
