Our client, a progressive, high-volume Marine/Powersports dealer, seeks a motivated and results-oriented General Sales Manager to lead their Marine product sales team. This dealer carries the top Marine product lines and enjoys a strong market and a great location. The Opportunity:
The General Sales Manager will run a strong Marine product sales team and have full responsibility for all facets of the Marine product sales operation. The successful candidate will bring a strong sales process, leadership traits, and coaching ability, and have a track record of building successful, high-performing teams. They will be accountable for achieving dealership sales goals and cultivating an environment that promotes customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor Sales team to success
  • Provide positive day-to-day team leadership
  • Drive Unit Sales and F&I profit by implementing/coaching sales process
  • Provide customers with excellent customer service
  • Establish and maintain a positive, customer-focused culture
  • Build long-term customer relationships

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in a dealership GSM or Sales Manager role
  • Must be process-oriented with strong CRM skills
  • Energetic, team player with advanced leadership and people skills
  • Prefer formal industry sales training background
  • Strong sales process, and ability to coach & close
  • Deep understanding of dealership operations
