Our Client:
Is a group of high-volume franchised powersports dealerships in Texas, including brands like Harley-Davidson, Indian, Victory, and all of the metric brands. They employ enthusiastic, motivated people in Sales, Service, Parts, and Apparel, and are dedicated to ensuring customers receive everything needed to "live the dream" on their new motorcycle, ATV, UTV, Trike, or Personal Watercraft. They employ the latest technology in their service department to ensure a premium customer experience and accurate data collection and effeciency for the staff. They are constantly reinvesting in their dealerships for a better quality of life for their staff and a better shopping experience for their customers.
The Opportunity:
Join a group of high-volume franchised powersports dealerships in Texas. The new Service Manager will lead the service department team. This position offers the chance to manage a team of technicians, enhance customer service satisfaction, and contribute to the reputation of quality and loyalty associated with our clients powersports dealerships. You will receive training on the latest technoloy in Service Manager software and inherit an opportunity to build this service department. A remodel is scheduled for Q1 which inlcudes additional service bays, lifts and a rennovated service area. This will create the capacity to add two more technicians increasing the service department productivity and output. We need candidate who can see and own this vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a visible leader within the dealership and uphold customer service standards
- Use your experience to lead and manage the service department team
- Maximize the skill levels of technicians and assign tasks to optimize productivity levels
- Establish and communicate sales goals and service standards to your team
- Lead and motivate team members to provide high-quality vehicle service to achieve goals and standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to develop technician skills and abilities
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and grow the volume of service work
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience within the service department of a motor vehicle dealership
- Ability to lead and motivate in a team environment
- Ability and enjoyment in communicating with customers
- Current motorcycle license (or ability to acquire one)
- Familiarity with Windows-based computer software
- Lightspeed experience a big plus.
- Experience and certifications with Honda, Suzuki, Polaris, Slingshot, and Indian is a plus
