The Opportunity:
As a Marine Forklift & Travelift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating large-capacity forklifts and a Travelift to haul, launch, and store recreational vessels ranging from mid size boats to large yachts. This role is critical to daily operations and requires precision, situational awareness, and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate large forklifts and a Travelift to launch, retrieve, and relocate boats.
- Position boats securely in designated storage areas or on trailers.
- Perform daily safety inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Work closely with the marina and service teams to coordinate boat movements efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist with general marina operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating large forklifts (Wiggins Marina Bull, Taylor, Hyster, etc.) and/or Travelifts.
- Experience working in a shipyard, marina, boatyard, or port setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of boat handling, weight distribution, and balance.
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
- Certifications in forklift operation or heavy equipment operation (preferred but not required).
