Parts & Service Coordinator

Our Client:
Our client is a rapidly growing RV dealership group and is committed to investing into the expansion of their business. They sell and service a variety of RVs from premier OEMs, and because of the growth of their business, there are ample opportunities for long term career growth. Within the last 6 months, they’ve opened the doors on a brand new dealership in one of the fastest growing and most desirable areas of the US. This area features an affordable cost of living, abundant recreation opportunities, mild climate year round, good schools, and a rural feel but with the amenities of the city.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Advisor and Parts professional to join our team in our brand-new location in the Nashville area. As a Parts & Service Writer, you will play a pivotal role in our fixed operations, ensuring efficient service processes, maximizing parts and service profitability, and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the company service process by following established procedures
  • Professionally intake customers, accurately transfer their service needs to repair orders
  • Effectively schedule service according to established guidelines
  • Consistently update customers on repair status
  • Close out customer-pay and internal repair orders in a timely manner
  • Verify quality control and arrange customer unit delivery
  • Optimize service profitability
  • Accurately estimate, prepare, and communicate repair order charges
  • Obtain timely customer authorizations
  • Inform customers of potential service, maintenance, parts, and accessory opportunities
  • Attend store during normal working hours (Tuesday through Saturday)

Qualifications:
  • Required: Service Writer experience
  • Preferred: RV industry experience
  • Preferred: Parts counter experience
  • Proficient with industry tools, software, and equipment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers, building customer confidence
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
