Marine Technician

Our Client:
A family-owned powersports dealership located in Minnesota, specializing in marine and powersports equipment. The dealership has a rich history of excellence and is committed to cutting-edge marine technology and customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity:
A critical role in the service department that requires a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on marine vessels and engines. The position offers an opportunity to work with various marine brands and advanced marine technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on marine vessels and engines
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and routine maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service records
  • Provide expert recommendations to customers
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of marine mechanical experience
  • Strong background in marine engine repair and maintenance
  • Certification from a recognized marine technical program preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of outboard engine systems. Yamaha and Mercury preferred, Suzuki a plus!
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
