Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the service department team, including advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Oversee daily service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs
- Manage department P&L, setting and achieving financial targets
- Establish and maintain service standards that deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Implement and optimize dealership management software for service operations
- Develop strategies to increase service department revenue and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate both onsite and mobile service scheduling
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies while optimizing costs
- Create and implement service marketing initiatives
- Build relationships with vendors and manufacturer representatives
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of marine service management experience
- Extensive knowledge of marine systems and outboard engines
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team development
- Experience with dealership management software (Light Speed experience a plus)
- Exceptional customer service orientation with strong communication skills
- Financial acumen with ability to manage department budgets and P&L
- Experience implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be within commuting distance
