The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician. The ideal candidate will be certified by Indmar and Mercury (or have equivalent experience) and possess strong marine technical skills, including rigging, working with 12V systems, and general industry knowledge. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with Indmar inboards and Mercury outboards
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair 12V electrical systems
  • Perform rigging and installation for new boats and accessories
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance including fluid changes, inspections, and system checks
  • Install customer-purchased accessories or upgrades
  • Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly and professionally to customers
  • Accurately complete work orders and warranty documentation on time
  • Request necessary parts and manage parts inventory for repairs and installs
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure efficient service workflow
  • Operate daily with a customer-first mindset to ensure an excellent service experience

Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a Marine Service Technician
  • Certified by Indmar and Mercury, or have equivalent industry experience
  • Rigging experience is required
  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing 12V marine electrical systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
