Do you like the water? Our client, a Marina owner/operator and one of the leaders in their industry, seeks an accomplished Store Manager to help their on-water Marina Store reach it's full potential. The Marina Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the store. A strong retail management background is required. Marina/boat experience would be a plus. The Opportunity:
The Marina Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including sales, inventory management, personnel, and delivering high-level customer service. This is an attractive opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all store operations, including opening/closing, merchandising, inventory, and scheduling
  • Manage all service parts inventory, ordering, receiving, and processing onto work orders
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate store and parts staff
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet/exceed targets
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness
  • Manage physical update of store
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner
  • Manage service department parts requests
  • Identify and implement new products
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with upper management on promotions, inventory planning, and performance goals
  • Analyze store performance metrics and provide reports as needed
  • Uphold company values and ensure a positive work environment
  • Be able to field basic marina & service inquiries
  • Knowledge of marina and boat parts and terminology is helpful
  • Ability to work weekends as needed

Qualifications:
  • Prior retail management experience/success
  • Basic knowledge of boating and/or marina operations is a plus
  • Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading company

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
