Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations
- Build a financial strategy that aligns with the company’s goals
- Participate in strategic financial decisions
- Streamline and improve dealership operations
- Create and interpret management reports
- Liaison with finance companies and banks
- Audit and track accounting processes: A/P, A/R, PO, bank reconciliation & more
- Collaborate with CPA for tax reporting
- Travel between locations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a retail dealership environment
- Preferred experience in Marine, RV, Powersports, or Auto dealership operations
- 5+ years of experience managing daily accounting operations
- 5+ years of experience with P&L management reporting
- Familiarity with Lightspeed or similar dealer management systems is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Experience with state motor vehicle laws and processes
- 5+ years of Financial Leadership experience
- Self-sufficiency is a must
