The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a technically adept and solutions-oriented Product Solution Specialist to bridge the gap between customers, sales, and product development. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that innovative clean energy products are seamlessly tailored to real-world applications. The position combines technical expertise with customer engagement, requiring someone who can design and deliver customized product solutions, provide expert pre and post-sales support, and translate market needs into actionable product strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of guiding both clients and internal teams toward scalable, reliable energy solutions that drive customer satisfaction and long-term growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, sales, and product development teams.
- Collaborate with sales during pre-sales cycles to assess customer requirements, design tailored solutions, and deliver compelling technical presentations.
- Engage directly with clients to analyze business and technical needs, ensuring solutions meet both immediate and long-term objectives.
- Develop standardized product solutions across application scenarios such as RVs, marine, residential off-grid, and solar energy systems.
- Monitor market and competitive trends, providing insights that shape product positioning and development strategy.
- Deliver post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues for key accounts.
- Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, technical challenges, and solution outcomes to inform continuous improvement.
- Partner with R&D, product management, and quality teams to enhance product performance and training resources.
- Work alongside a team of technical professionals, ensuring efficient workload management, clear KPIs, and ongoing skills development.
- Conduct and deliver internal and external technical training sessions for sales teams, partners, and end-users.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits, serving as a subject matter expert on solution design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product solutions, technical support, or solution design, ideally within clean energy, solar, or adjacent hardware industries.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, batteries, inverters, charge controllers, and related components.
- Proven experience designing solutions for applications such as RVs, marine systems, and residential/commercial off-grid environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; process-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams or cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in technical presentations, documentation, and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, training, and events as needed.
