Business Development Manager – Luxury Yacht Builder

The Opportunity:
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage and expand relationships with the dealer network and clients. You will act as a key point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and driving revenue growth through strategic and relationship planning. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on partnership with dealer partners and end clients. You’ll work as part of a high-performing sales team, cultivate relationships, and collaborate with marketing and product development to ensure offerings exceed expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers as a trusted advisor
  • Identify new business opportunities within the dealer base to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Address dealer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure positive customer lifecycle experiences
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, customer relations, product development) to support dealers
  • Provide product education to dealers and their staff on new launches and offerings
  • Track dealer performance, analyze sales data, and report on key metrics
  • Conduct annual and quarterly dealer meetings to set goals, review performance, and develop recovery plans
  • Travel regularly to dealers, attend boat shows, and partner with service teams on customer visits

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent sales experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience in luxury goods, marine, aviation, or automotive sectors
  • Proven success managing dealer/distributor networks across multiple regions
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and managing high-value client relationships
  • Deep understanding of the luxury market and customer expectations
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and CRM/data-driven sales strategy expertise
  • Ability to speak multiple languages strongly preferred
  • Strategic thinker with operational discipline and customer-first mindset
