Marketing Manager – LE & Sporting Goods Division

The Opportunity:
The Marketing Manager will lead the Law Enforcement and Sporting Goods division, owning all marketing and strategic functions that drive awareness, product adoption, and growth. While marketing excellence is the foundation, the scope of this position extends into product strategy, development, and GTM planning. Working cross-functionally with sales, product, and executive leadership, this person will champion the division in all respects, shaping messaging, product refinement, and overall business direction. The role is fully on-site in the North-Central Texas region, a hub for the outdoor and firearms industries that offers proximity to major metropolitan resources along with the space, freedom, and lifestyle that appeal to those who live and work in this field.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead divisional marketing strategy and execution across digital, print, web, video, packaging, and social channels.
  • Develop go-to-market (GTM) plans, product launch strategies, and business development initiatives for the Law Enforcement and Sporting Goods division.
  • Partner with product management on new product development, refinement, and competitive benchmarking efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to create marketing tools, product education materials, and content that supports sell-through and distributor success.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of web content, product pages, and marketing assets ensuring alignment with divisional and broader business strategy.
  • Coordinate divisional participation in major trade shows and events, managing pre-show planning, booth materials, and post-event engagement.
  • Manage distributor communications and support programs designed to enhance product visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Provide creative direction for social media, advertising, and promotional campaigns to strengthen brand presence in target markets.
  • Actively contribute to divisional business strategy discussions, bringing insights from market data, end users, and channel performance.
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative environment built on accountability, initiative, and shared success.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within sporting goods, tactical equipment, or related consumer product industries.
  • Proven ability to manage both strategic marketing initiatives and hands-on execution in lean, agile organizations.
  • Strong background in product development, GTM strategy, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting trade shows and channel marketing programs for distributors or B2B partners.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, website CMS tools, and marketing automation systems preferred.
  • A proactive, team-first mindset; eager to take ownership, make an impact, and grow with the company long term.
