The Opportunity:
The Head of US Sales will lead nationwide government and commercial sales, bringing structure, process discipline, and accountability to a rapidly scaling organization. This leader will set strategy, build, mentor, and manage a high performing team, drive growth across federal/defense and dealer channels, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure precise execution and delivery. You’ll step into a formative leadership position with a fast-scaling global brand and establish the systems, culture, and performance standards that will drive sustained US market growth for years to come.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing U.S. sales team across government and commercial divisions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth goals.
  • Drive U.S. Government sales (DoD, SOCOM, Federal, State & Local LE) with deep knowledge of procurement systems (GSA, DLA, FedMall, SAM.gov, NSN, etc.).
  • Expand and manage commercial channels, dealers, and distributor relationships.
  • Establish disciplined sales processes, ensure CRM accuracy, and drive data-based forecasting.
  • Build lasting relationships with key defense, government, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure contract and delivery excellence.
  • Drive consistent US sales revenue growth across government and commercial channels through disciplined execution and data-driven strategy.
  • Oversee contract acquisition, pipeline management, and conversion performance to ensure strong year-over-year expansion.
  • Maintain exceptional forecast accuracy and CRM compliance, ensuring transparency and accountability at every level of the sales organization.
  • Set and monitor performance standards to strengthen team engagement, retention, and results.
  • Lead channel and account expansion initiatives that increase market penetration and long-term profitability.

Qualifications:
  • 10–15 years of sales experience in tactical gear/defense/military equipment, including 5+ years in leadership.
  • Proven success selling individual soldier equipment to US government and defense agencies. (must have experience at this level, vs vehicles, technology, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of procurement, contracting, and compliance frameworks.
  • Military service or background strongly preferred.
  • Meticulous, process driven, and detail oriented; strong leadership presence, capable of mentorship and development of the teams managed.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team-building skills.
  • Extensive tradeshow experience, overseeing all aspects of industry relevant shows.
  • Ability to travel domestically on a regular basis, and internationally 3-4 times per year.
