The Opportunity:
This is a key customer-facing technical role supporting riders, dealers, and internal engineering staff. The position is ideal for an experienced motorcycle industry professional who enjoys problem solving, helping customers, and working hands-on with performance products. You will serve as the primary technical resource for installation questions, product applications, and custom projects while working closely with engineering and operations. A passion for motorcycles is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers regarding company products including cams and gears
- Walk customers through product questions, installation procedures, and troubleshooting
- Assist with engineering and customer service for projects that come into the shop
- Handle day-to-day calls and requests for technical information
- Support customers with custom applications including cams, gears, and one-off prototypes
- Work directly with engineering to communicate customer requirements and feedback
- Measure camshafts using standard and specialized measuring equipment
- Assist with preparation for trade shows, open houses, and customer events
- Represent the company in public settings such as trade shows and race tracks
- Track customer interactions and projects using Microsoft Office and company ERP systems
- Work independently to research and resolve customer questions and technical issues
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the motorcycle industry, preferably within a Harley-Davidson dealership service department
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience installing, tuning, and specifying camshafts for Harley-Davidson motorcycles
- Experience installing and troubleshooting Harley-Davidson transmission gears
- General mechanical knowledge of motorcycles, especially V-Twin engines; some Metric bike experience helpful
- General automotive camshaft knowledge related to push-rod V8 engines
- Ability to professionally handle technical phone calls and customer inquiries
- Experience working with engineering teams and technical documentation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and basic ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to interact with customers at events and in public settings
