Powersports Technician

Our Client:
Our client is a well-established, progressive powersports dealer group with multiple locations. This specific location is a top performer operationally and by volume, and is part of one of the highest-volume powersports groups in their state, known for strong culture, growth, and long-term investment in its people.

The Opportunity:
This is a growth-focused opportunity for a Master-level Powersports Technician to join an expanding professional service team. This role is an addition to the staff, not a replacement, created to increase capacity and support growing demand. The technician will work in a climate-controlled facility with two dedicated bays and report directly to the Service Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on motorcycles and powersports vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake service, tire replacement, and fluid checks
  • Repair or replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components
  • Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer software to troubleshoot and repair vehicles to OEM standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations to customers and management
  • Follow safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines at all times
  • Contribute to service department growth by delivering timely, high-quality technical solutions

Qualifications:
  • Master-level technician background strongly preferred
  • Completion of a formal motorcycle or powersports technician training program or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the powersports industry preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Experience with ATVs, side-by-sides, and motorcycles across on-road and off-road products
  • MMI certification or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
