The Opportunity:
The Marketing Director will lead all marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of leading motorsports and outdoor events. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving event attendance, exhibitor and sponsor lead generation, and overall brand growth through integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns. The position offers a unique opportunity to blend digital, experiential, and performance marketing within a fast-growing business that values creativity, accountability, and passion for the outdoors. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a key role in shaping future growth initiatives, including expansion and acquisition efforts.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: up to $120,000 depending on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated, omnichannel marketing strategies to drive event attendance, exhibitor acquisition, and sponsorship revenue
- Own end-to-end campaign performance including planning, execution, budget management, tracking, and reporting
- Drive demand generation through paid, owned, and earned media channels across both B2C and B2B audiences
- Lead audience segmentation, campaign calendar development, KPI tracking, and performance optimization
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to generate qualified leads and support exhibitor and sponsor revenue growth
- Oversee creative development including campaign themes, messaging, email marketing, social media, and web/landing page content
- Develop and manage marketing assets such as media kits, sponsorship decks, and sales collateral
- Lead on-site marketing execution at live events to ensure brand consistency and high-quality attendee experience
- Conduct post-event analysis, including campaign performance, surveys, and ROI evaluation to inform future strategy
- Manage internal resources and external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners
- Operate within established event marketing budgets while optimizing ROI and performance
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in event marketing, consumer marketing, or experiential marketing
- Proven success driving event attendance, audience growth, and B2B lead generation
- Strong expertise in digital marketing channels including paid media, social media, email marketing, and web platforms
- Experience with marketing analytics tools and performance tracking (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Hands-on, execution-oriented leadership style with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong collaboration skills across sales, operations, and executive leadership
- Excellent written communication, creative direction, and campaign development skills
- Industry experience in motorsports, powersports, outdoor, or enthusiast-driven markets preferred
