Regional Sales Manager – Premium Boat Manufacturer

Our Client:
Our client is a premier designer and manufacturer of luxury recreational powerboats, known for blending timeless styling with advanced engineering and exceptional craftsmanship. The brand serves a discerning customer base and is recognized for delivering a best-in-class ownership experience. With a strong product lineup and growing market presence, the company is focused on aggressively expanding its dealer network and strengthening its position across key markets.

The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a driven, high-impact Regional Sales Manager to accelerate growth across North America. This role is focused on both expanding the dealer network and driving measurable retail performance within existing accounts.

This is not a maintenance role—this is a market-building opportunity. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented sales leader who can identify whitespace opportunities, recruit high-performing dealer partners, and push for increased throughput within the network. Success in this role will come from a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and the ability to influence dealer behavior to drive retail results.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Drive retail sales growth and market share expansion across assigned territory
· Actively identify, recruit, and onboard new high-performing dealers in open markets
· Evaluate dealer performance and make strategic recommendations to upgrade or optimize the network
· Partner with dealers to develop and execute aggressive retail sales plans
· Push for improved inventory turns, pipeline management, and sales discipline within the dealer network
· Lead and support dealers in local marketing initiatives, events, and boat shows to generate demand
· Maintain a strong field presence with frequent dealer visits and hands-on engagement
· Hold dealers accountable to performance expectations and brand standards
· Identify competitive threats and capitalize on market opportunities to win share
· Serve as the voice of the market, providing actionable feedback to internal teams
· Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to support growth initiatives

Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience in the marine industry (OEM or dealer preferred)
· Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets in a field-based role
· Demonstrated success in dealer recruitment, development, and performance management
· Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
· Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and performance expectations
· Ability to influence and challenge dealer partners to drive better results
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
· Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
