The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Service Manager to lead a high-performing RV and Marine service operation within a well-established dealership. The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations, driving technician productivity, operational efficiency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead all day-to-day operations of the RV and Marine service department
- Manage, mentor, and develop service staff including technicians and advisors
- Drive technician productivity through scheduling and workflow management
- Ensure timely, accurate completion of service work while minimizing comebacks
- Oversee service write-ups and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Monitor department KPIs including labor sales, gross profit, and efficiency
- Collaborate with parts department to ensure inventory alignment and workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with warranty and manufacturer requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance performance and profitability
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized service environment
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of Service Manager experience within the RV industry
- Marine service experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of fixed operations including service and parts
- Experience managing service department P&L and driving financial performance
- Proven ability to improve technician productivity and operational efficiency
- Hands-on leadership experience building and developing service teams
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS)
- Strong understanding of service workflows and shop capacity planning
- Experience with warranty processes and claims submission
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making ability
