The Opportunity:
The General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of location performance, including sales, service operations, financial results, team development, and market growth. This role ensures the business's overall success by driving profitability, delivering a high-quality customer experience, and building a strong, accountable team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to team members by reinforcing company values and performance expectations
- Oversee hiring, training, development, and performance management across all departments
- Partner with internal resources to ensure compliance with employment practices and company policies
- Continuously evaluate team performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain a high-performing organization
- Support revenue-generating activities by assisting with customer engagement and sales processes
- Ensure pricing strategies and sales processes are consistently followed
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure proper mix, turnover, and minimal aging
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded
- Drive profitability through effective expense management, staffing optimization, and achievement of revenue targets
- Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Evaluate operational procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
- Support employee development through training programs and individual development planning
- Participate in leadership discussions and contribute to strategic initiatives
- Coordinate and participate in promotional events and local marketing initiatives
- Develop and execute strategies to grow market presence
- Oversee facility operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience managing multi-department operations, including sales and service functions
- Proven ability to drive profitability and operational performance
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and workplace safety standards
