The Opportunity:
The Business Manager is a key leader within the finance function, responsible for driving financial performance and delivering a high-quality customer experience. This role focuses on managing transactions, improving finance-related profitability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining operational excellence. The Business Manager plays a critical role in supporting revenue generation by working closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate efficient, compliant transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote company values and maintain a professional, customer-focused environment
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements, minimizing organizational risk
- Execute a consistent finance and transaction process across all deals
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay current on products, programs, and best practices
- Assess customer financing needs, process credit applications, and present financing and protection product options using a consultative approach
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lender programs and ancillary product offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions, product providers, and service partners
- Manage daily transaction tracking, including deal status, funding timelines, and documentation progress
- Resolve administrative and funding issues promptly to ensure the timely completion of transactions
- Oversee title, registration, and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure all warranty and product documentation is properly completed and transferred
- Analyze lost sales opportunities and identify areas for improvement in finance and product penetration
- Address and resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Participate in promotional events, sales activities, and customer engagement opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in finance, business operations, or transaction management
- Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and meet targets
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and documentation processes
- Experience working with lenders, financial products, or related services is preferred
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners
