The General Manager for this Great Lakes location will serve as the senior leader of the dealership, responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations including sales, service, parts, finance, and customer experience. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead all dealership operations including new and pre-owned boat sales, service, parts, and finance
  • Own and manage full P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and expense control (SG&A)
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a strong culture of accountability and customer focus
  • Drive sales performance by actively supporting the team in the sales process, closing deals, and improving conversion rates
  • Manage inventory strategy to optimize turns, minimize aged units, and align with market demand
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, maintaining high satisfaction scores and resolving escalated issues effectively
  • Analyze financial statements and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Develop and execute local marketing and promotional strategies, including boat shows and community events
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate market trends, competitive insights, and business opportunities
  • Oversee facility operations to maintain a professional, safe, and customer-friendly environment

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in marine, powersports, RV or related dealership operations
  • Proven success managing P&L and driving revenue growth in a multi-department environment
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Hands-on sales leadership experience with the ability to coach and close
  • Experience managing inventory, forecasting demand, and improving operational efficiency
  • Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering premium ownership experiences
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
