The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our growing Service Department. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, rigging, and maintaining a variety of marine engines and boat systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team with over 100 years of combined certified technician expertise in the marine industry.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on outboard and inboard marine engines
  • Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal services, including winterization and de-winterization
  • Conduct warranty repairs and insurance-related repair work
  • Install and rig marine electronics, trolling motors, and accessories
  • Perform fiberglass repairs, prop repairs, and general boat refurbishing
  • Assist with lake calls and on-site service requests when needed
  • Conduct boat inspections and appraisals
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate repair recommendations to customers
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards

Qualifications:
  • Previous marine technician or related mechanical experience preferred
  • Marine certifications are a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Welding or fiberglass repair experience is a plus
