Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guide customers through the RV purchasing process from initial inquiry and qualification through delivery, ensuring a professional and positive customer experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to generate repeat and referral business
- Become a student of your product, developing a strong understanding of available RV inventory, product features, financing options, and ownership benefits
- Conduct walkarounds, demonstrations, and presentations tailored to each customer’s goals, use-case, and lifestyle
- Follow up consistently on leads, showroom traffic, prior customers, and internet inquiries to maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Work collaboratively with finance, parts, and service departments to support a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer records, activity updates, and follow up schedules within the dealership software and sales systems (DMS, CRM, etc.)
- Participate in dealership marketing events, RV shows, and coverage for occasional boat and outdoor recreation events as needed
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer preferences within the RV market
- Consistently work toward individual and team sales goals while upholding the company’s standards for professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in RV sales within a dealership environment required
- Passion for the RV lifestyle and outdoor recreation industry, also firsthand boating knowledge or marine familiarity will be viewed favorably
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship building skills
- Self motivated and goal oriented mindset with the confidence to ask for the sale and close business effectively
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team oriented environment
- Professional presentation and a customer first approach to sales and aftersales support
- Comfortable learning product features, financing options, and evolving inventory offerings
- Experience using CRM systems, dealership software, and digital communication tools is required
- Availability to work dealership hours, including weekends, events, and seasonal shows as needed
