The Opportunity:
The President provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company, leading sustainable growth, operational excellence, and organizational alignment. Working closely with the executive leadership team, this individual develops and executes business strategy while ensuring strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and a high-performing culture.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
  • Responsible for the overall strategic direction for the company, including the development, execution, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's strategic plan.
  • Lead and execute an ambitious growth strategy that drives operational excellence, market leadership, and long-term value creation.
  • Ensure company strategies, products, and services consistently exceed customer expectations and align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform long-range planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Establish organizational vision and develop a clear path to success with an ownership mindset.
Financial & Business Performance
  • Deliver superior financial results.
  • Define and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and margin objectives are achieved.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership, including oversight of budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Partner with finance leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial insights that support executive decision-making.
  • Drive initiatives to strengthen cash flow, capital efficiency, and overall financial health.
Operational Excellence & Governance
  • Enhance, develop, and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Ensure operations are conducted in a safe, ethical, and compliant manner while maintaining a strong performance-oriented culture.
  • Promote continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
Leadership, Talent & Culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the senior executive team and high-potential leaders across the organization.
  • Foster a high-care, high-impact culture.
  • Promote collaboration across functional leaders and executive team members.
  • Serve as a visible role model for the company's values and culture.
  • Build an ambitious, engaged, and accountable leadership culture.
External Relationships & Partnerships
  • Manage and strengthen key partnerships, supplier relationships, and strategic alliances.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, operational effectiveness, and market position.
  • Represent the company professionally within the industry.
Ethics & Corporate Responsibility
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards and promote corporate social responsibility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience within the marine industry or a closely related field preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the marine industry, including product development, sales, distribution, and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and strategic partnerships.
  • Enterprise leadership, strategic thinking, business and financial acumen.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
