The mountain state location is the flagship store for the company and represents a significant portion of the corporate revenue.

The General Manager will be responsible for managing the dealership’s P&L, mentoring and developing a staff of 30+, implementing operational processes, and collaborating closely with executive leadership to achieve sales and profit objectives. This store currently operates with a collaborative team structure and is well positioned for the future.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage all dealership operations, including boat sales, finance, service, parts, and pro shop departments
  • Oversee daily store operations while ensuring alignment with company goals and performance objectives
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a growing dealership team while fostering a positive and high-performance culture
  • Manage dealership P&L performance, including revenue growth, gross margin improvement, and operational profitability
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, operational planning, and long-term growth initiatives
  • Drive sales performance across all revenue channels while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction standards
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and proactively
  • Manage inventory levels for boats, parts, and retail merchandise to maximize turns and minimize carrying costs
  • Support service department operations to ensure efficient workflow, timely repairs, and strong profitability
  • Develop and implement operational processes that improve efficiency, accountability, and overall dealership performance
  • Analyze local market conditions and competitor activity to identify opportunities for continued growth and expansion
  • Maintain compliance with all workplace safety standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years of Management Experience in the Marine, Powersports, RV, Automotive, or Related Dealership Industries
  • Strong Leadership Background with the Ability to Coach, Mentor, and Develop Teams
  • Proven Experience Managing Dealership or Retail P&L Operations
  • Demonstrated Success Driving Sales Growth, Profitability, and Operational Performance
  • Strong Financial and Business Acumen, Including Budgeting and Forecasting Experience
  • Excellent Communication, Customer Service, and Interpersonal Skills
  • Experience Overseeing Sales, Service, and Parts Operations Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or a Related Field Preferred
  • Comfortable Working in a Fast-Paced Growth Environment with a Hands-On Leadership Approach
  • Willingness to Travel Approximately 10% as Needed
